Video Editor
Creative Colombo, Sri Lanka 1–3 years Hybrid
Video Editor
CreativeWe produce promotional videos, social media reels, brand films, and product showcases for clients across Sri Lanka and internationally. You will be responsible for editing footage into polished, on-brand content — from quick Instagram reels to full corporate videos.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into finished videos for social media, websites, and presentations
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, and title sequences (After Effects)
- Colour grade footage to match brand guidelines
- Mix and sync audio including music, voiceovers, and sound effects
- Collaborate with the design team on visual style and brand consistency
- Deliver files in formats required for each platform (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)
- Manage video project files and maintain organised asset libraries
Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong understanding of pacing, cuts, and visual storytelling
- Experience with colour grading and audio mixing
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Portfolio of at least 5 completed video projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with Davinci Resolve
- Motion design or 2D animation skills
- Experience creating content for Sri Lankan brands

Associate Full Stack Developer
Engineering Colombo, Sri Lanka 0–1 year Hybrid
Associate Full Stack Developer
EngineeringThis role is for someone early in their career who has solid fundamentals and wants to grow fast in a hands-on environment. You will work alongside senior developers on client projects, picking up real-world Laravel and React skills while contributing to production code from week one.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building web features under the guidance of senior developers
- Write clean, readable PHP/Laravel code for backend features and APIs
- Implement UI components using React and Tailwind CSS from Figma designs
- Debug issues, write basic tests, and document your work clearly
- Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback
- Help with database queries and basic schema work in MySQL
- Collaborate daily with the team in our Colombo office (hybrid schedule)
Requirements
- Solid understanding of PHP and basic Laravel (personal projects count)
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/React
- Understanding of how REST APIs work
- Familiar with Git and basic command line usage
- Eager to learn, asks questions, and takes feedback well

Full Stack Developer
Engineering Sri Lanka (Remote) 2–4 years Remote
Full Stack Developer
EngineeringYou will work across our client project pipeline building web applications, admin dashboards, e-commerce platforms, and SaaS products. We primarily use Laravel on the backend and React/Inertia.js on the frontend. You should be comfortable owning features end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications using Laravel and React/Inertia.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and database schemas
- Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, WhatsApp Business, OpenAI, etc.)
- Work closely with the UI/UX team to implement pixel-accurate interfaces
- Write clean, documented, testable code with proper error handling
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions
- Deploy applications and manage server environments (Linux, Nginx)
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel (3+ years)
- Comfortable with React, Inertia.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Solid understanding of MySQL and database design
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and collaborative workflows
- Able to read and implement API documentation independently

Flutter Mobile Developer
Engineering Sri Lanka (Remote) 1–3 years Remote
Flutter Mobile Developer
EngineeringWe build Flutter apps for clients who need a great mobile experience without the cost of two native codebases. You will take Figma designs and build polished, performant mobile apps with clean architecture and real API integrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Integrate REST APIs and real-time data into app interfaces
- Implement state management using Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider
- Build smooth animations and transitions that match design specs
- Test on both Android and iOS devices/simulators
- Submit and manage releases on the App Store and Play Store
- Collaborate with backend developers on API contract design
Requirements
- Proficient in Flutter and Dart (1+ years of real projects)
- Comfortable with state management (Bloc, Riverpod, or similar)
- Experience integrating REST APIs in Flutter
- Understanding of mobile UI best practices for both platforms
- At least one published or client-deployed Flutter app
Nice to Have
- Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, FCM)
- Understanding of CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Figma-to-Flutter implementation

UI/UX Designer

UI/UX Designer
DesignYou will design the user interfaces and experiences for web applications, mobile apps, and websites we build for clients. You should be comfortable going from research and wireframes all the way through to production-ready Figma files that developers can build from without questions.
Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
- Conduct user research, usability reviews, and client workshops
- Build and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Work closely with developers to ensure faithful implementation
- Design responsive layouts for web and mobile
- Contribute to brand identity projects alongside the graphic design team
- Present design decisions clearly to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong Figma skills (auto-layout, components, prototyping)
- Portfolio showing both UX process and polished UI output
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles
- Comfortable designing for web and mobile simultaneously
- Good communication skills — you will present directly to clients
Nice to Have
- Experience with design systems at scale
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (helps working with devs)

SEO & Content Specialist

SEO & Content Specialist
MarketingYou will lead content and SEO work for IT Starter's own channels as well as for our clients. This includes keyword research, writing long-form articles, website copy, and managing on-page optimisation. You should understand that good SEO and good writing are the same thing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and build content strategies for clients and IT Starter
- Write SEO-optimised blog posts, website copy, and service page content
- Perform on-page SEO audits and implement recommendations
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and content performance using GSC and GA4
- Manage content calendars and coordinate publishing workflows
- Write social media captions and email newsletter content
- Stay current with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices
Requirements
- Strong English writing skills — clarity and brevity over length
- Practical understanding of on-page SEO (titles, meta, headings, internal linking)
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Comfortable with keyword research tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar)
- Portfolio of ranked articles or measurable SEO results
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for tech, software, or digital marketing clients
- Familiarity with WordPress or headless CMS publishing
- Understanding of technical SEO (site speed, schema, crawlability)
- Experience writing for Sri Lankan or international B2B audiences
